Use Meldstead with your AI app

Connect Meldstead to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or any app that supports MCP. Then ask it to find, create and update your projects, tasks and comments. It acts as you, with the access you already have.

Everyday use needs a paid Essential or Pro plan. Moving your work in from another app also works on the free trial.

Set it up

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector, name it Meldstead and paste the URL above.
  3. Sign in to Meldstead when asked and allow access.

Using it: Meldstead is on in every chat. You can switch it off from the + menu, under Connectors.

What your AI app can and can't do

Can

  • List your projects and see task counts by status
  • Search and read tasks, comments and project docs
  • Create and update tasks: title, description, status, priority and dates
  • Add comments to tasks
  • Move projects in from Asana, ClickUp, monday.com, Notion, Linear, Jira and more

Can't

  • Change billing, plans or payment details
  • Manage sharing links, passwords, invites or members
  • Delete projects or tasks
  • See anything in projects you don't have access to

Viewers on a shared project can read but not change it. You can disconnect any app at any time in Settings.

Switching from another app

Connect your current app and Meldstead in your AI app, then ask it to move your work. Projects come over with sections, tasks, subtasks, statuses, dates, comments and docs. Files stay where they are and arrive as links. Moving in doesn't use your daily runs.
